Publix Passport › Publix Passport app
Is There a Publix Passport App?
Passport has no app of its own. Here’s what to use on your phone, what Publix PRO really does, and the fake “Passport apps” to avoid.
The short answer
No. Publix doesn’t offer a separate Publix Passport app. Passport runs in your phone’s web browser at publix.org, with the same login you use on a computer.
You can add publix.org to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Apps from Publix, and what each one does
| App | Publisher | What it’s for | Schedule or pay? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Publix | Publix Super Markets, Inc. | Shopping, digital coupons, ordering for customers | No |
| Publix PRO | Publix Super Markets, Inc. | Store work: product, price, stock and location lookups, replenishment lists | No |
| Publix Store Manager Pro | Publix Super Markets, Inc. | Store managers: sales and shrink reports, truck schedules, inventory adjustments | No |
| Microsoft Authenticator | Microsoft | Approving your Publix sign-in (2-step verification) | No, it only signs you in |
App details come from each app’s App Store listing: Publix, Publix PRO, Publix Store Manager Pro.

What the Publix PRO app does
Publix’s App Store listing calls PRO a voluntary, work-related app associates can use instead of a handheld terminal. It lists these jobs:
- Look up product details and retail prices by name or description.
- Check on-hand quantity and where an item sits in the store.
- See upcoming delivery dates and ordered amounts.
- Check availability at nearby Publix stores.
- Create and manage replenishment lists, and assign actions to associates in your store.
The listing says PRO should only be used during paid time. It doesn’t mention schedules or pay statements.
From the manager’s desk
The PRO app lived on the store handhelds, and associates used it for inventory and product questions only, and only on the clock.
Fake “Passport apps” to avoid
- Any app named “Publix Passport” or “Passport Login” whose publisher isn’t Publix Super Markets, Inc.
- APK files offered for download on websites, outside Google Play.
- Any app that asks for your Publix user ID and password inside the app.
- Apps with few reviews, a generic icon and a publisher name you don’t recognize.
