Publix Pay Stub and Payday Guide
Where to find your pay statement in Passport, what every line means, when payday is, and what to do when your hours look wrong.
The short answer
Your Publix pay statements are in Passport, in the financial or pay section. Open a pay period to see hours, gross pay, taxes, deductions and net pay, then save it as a PDF.

Menu names change now and then. Look for pay statements under the financial section if yours looks different.
When is Publix payday?
Associate reviews and most guides say Publix pays hourly associates weekly by direct deposit. Publix doesn’t publish its pay calendar on its public sites, so the pay date printed on your own statement is the final word.

In my stores, associates checked the schedule in Passport on Sunday nights to plan their week, and checked pay statements the day after payday to make sure their hours were right.
How to read your pay statement

The PROFIT Plan won’t show as a deduction. Publix contributes that stock each year at no cost to you.

Moved stores across a state line? Check that the state on your statement changed with you.
Hours or pay look wrong?
- Write down the dates, shifts and hours you believe are missing.
- Tell your department or store manager the same week.
- Your manager sends the correction to payroll with your dates.
- Check the next statement for the adjustment.

For pay problems like a missing hour, I could send the correction to payroll with your dates. Those usually came back within a pay cycle.
Direct deposit
Publix lists direct deposit among associate benefits. Set it up or change it in Passport.
- Copy routing and account numbers from your bank app, not from memory.
- Look at your next statement to confirm the deposit went to the new account.
- Holding Publix stock? Dividend direct deposit is separate and handled by stockholder services.

Save your pay stubs as PDFs
Landlords, lenders and car dealers often ask for your last 2 or 3 pay stubs. Save each one when it posts.
If you plan to leave Publix, download them before your last day. Access usually ends with your job. The year-end totals also help if your Publix W-2 is late.

Log in to Passport on publix.org and open the financial or pay section, then pay statements.
Does Publix pay weekly?
Most associate reports say yes, by direct deposit. The pay date on your own statement is the one to trust.
Can former associates see old pay stubs?
Usually not after access ends. Save PDFs before your last day.
Why did my net pay change when my hours didn’t?
Check for a new benefit deduction, a change in your 401(k) percentage or a W-4 change.
Can I see my pay stub on the Publix PRO app?
Publix describes PRO as a product and inventory tool for store work. Use Passport for pay.
