An independent guide to Publix Passport, written by a retired Publix store manager and checked against Publix’s own published sources.
What this site is
publixpassport.net is an independent website that explains how Publix associates use Publix Passport: logging in safely, finding schedules and pay statements, setting up 2-step verification, and what changes when you leave or retire.
Everything here is written for the person standing in the break room with 5 minutes and a question. Short answers first, details after.
Who writes this guide
Mary Wilbanks started at Publix in 1982, at 18. She worked her way up to store manager, ran stores for 17 years, and retired in 2022 with 40 years and 40 days of service.
The “From the manager’s desk” notes across this site are in her own words, based on what she saw and handled in her own stores.
How we check our information
- Facts about Publix stock, the PROFIT Plan, the PRO app and official contacts come from Publix’s own websites, and we link to them.
- Where sources disagree, or we can’t confirm something, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
- Every guide shows a “Last verified” date, and we review the main pages regularly.
What we will never do
- Ask for your Publix user ID, password or verification codes.
- Put a login form on this site. The real Passport portal is on publix.org.
- Use Publix logos or present this site as official.
That’s exactly why I wrote this guide: everything I used to explain at the register, in the break room and walking to the parking lot, in one place, so you can get your answers without hunting anyone down.
